I chose "The Detective" as my archetype. Film noir and detective movies are definitely among my favorite types of movies. I'm also kind of a big Agatha Christie nerd. Maybe I'm secretly 70 years old. Whatever.
I played off the Sherlock-Holmes-y detective (the classic depiction, not Robert Downey, Jr., as I'm sure you can tell) and the film noir detective.
I'm playing with making it kind of like a film noir movie poster, too:
I still want to play with the type, but I thought I'd share what I had for now, because I'm generous like that (or something).
I know I'm supposed to pick the next topic, but I'm going wait another day or so, and see if more gets posted for this.

ReplyDeleteThis is a really fun piece!!! I dig how your use of primary colors draws your eyes to the focal point of the composition. (I'm working on mine, hopefully will be done in a day or two!)
